Team Members Attend NN/g’s Usability Week Conference

Usability Week DC 2001 offered 5 days of invaluable learning in the form of full-day tutorials. The courses were designed to expose UX practitioners to a solid and well-rounded understanding of usability as it is achieved through user research, information architecture, user-centered analysis, practical usability testing, and finally web and application design.

The biggest takeaway from Usability Week is that people are more predictable than you might think. Most relevant concepts from cognitive psychology and human factors serve as the basis for usability principles and understanding the foundations of human cognition can help you anticipate people’s reactions and make more effective design decisions.
