- Senior Business Developer
Overview
As a business developer you will play an instrumental role in the connection between our prospective and new clients; building trust-based relationships in order to ensure that our clients are completely satisfied with our services. Applicant must be a self-driven, disciplined, and focused professional; able to plan daily, reach specific activity benchmarks; and be a bold cold caller able to close new sales.
Responsibilities
- Develop and secure new strategic partnerships through generation of new sales opportunities.
- Prospect new relationships through cold calling, trade shows, referrals and networking.
- Manage and develop prospect database.
- Active involvement in trade associations.
- Implement marketing and sales efforts toward key strategic partnerships.
- Provide recommendations in developing new market segments and business opportunities.
- Meet and exceed new sales goals.
- Responsible for contract negotiations and transitioning new accounts to service team.
- Coordinate sales efforts with local and operational teams.
Required Experience/Skills
- Minimum of 5 years business-to-business sales experience, preferably in the service industry.
- Minimum four year degree or related business experience.
- Highly competitive, positive, and results driven sales person.
- Excellent customer service skills. Excellent phone, oral and written communication skills.
- Organized and able to manage time.
- Experienced in managing multiple projects and able to multi-task.
- Experienced in selling to regional and national clients Proficient with computer software programs including MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint).
- Experience in using CRM programs to manage prospect database, client organizational structure and develop sales strategies.
- Comfortable in securing appointments and presenting to mid-upper level managers.
- Ability to communicate from any location and to work out of home office if required.
