Position Description - Recruiter

Overview
412 Studios is seeking an ambitious, experienced individual to join our recruiting team. As a Recruiter, you will be working with a small team of professionals who are responsible for identifying and attracting top talent within the User Experience, Technology and Creative disciplines.

Responsibilities

  • Fill assigned positions within aggressive timeframes.
  • Review resumes for appropriate skills and experience and conduct initial phone screens.
  • Creatively source candidates for positions, utilizing a variety of recruitment resources such as internet sites, social networking, and user groups.
  • Leverage current candidate database as a major sourcing tool.
  • Coordinate and schedule phone interviews and in-person meetings.
  • Establish strong relationships with internal employees and hiring managers to foster a partnership throughout the interview process.
  • Maintain accurate and well-ordered documentation on all candidates and other recruiting activities.
  • Establish priorities, handle multiple tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Assist with collegiate recruiting and recruiting events.

Required Experience/Skills

  • BA/BS with 2-5 years of experience with full life-cycle recruiting in a corporate and/or agency environment.
  • Exposure to hiring or working in the interactive web industry Proficient in Microsoft Office, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and internet sourcing tools.
  • Knowledge of LinkedIn networking.
  • Proven track record of successfully sourcing and hiring active and passive candidates through cold calling, name generation, networking, and corporate websites.
  • Ability to interact, influence and negotiate with candidates.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills as well as strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Comfortable speaking with all levels of professionals on the phone and in person
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-change environment.
  • Demonstrate a sense of urgency and attention to details.

Nice to Have

  • Experience with Jobvite ATS.
  • Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Education/Experience in Visual Design, User Experience or Technology.
